LEDs are used by almost every person in their daily lives and are also present in LED keyring torches, watches, remote controls, TV systems and so on. These days, LEDs are also being used in flashlights of all kinds and sizes. There are a number of advantages of LED flashlights over the normal traditional flashlights which were used a few years ago.

Usage of LEDs in flashlights has led to the embedding of the new technology in the old products which are being used at present also. People are much more satisfied by using LED flashlights as the focus of the LED flashlights is more accurate and there is less scattering of light in case of LED flashlights as compared to a normal flashlight which employs a light bulb. LED are very unique in their working and unlike the traditional bulb which is lit by heating of the filament inside its glass shell, it is lit by the movement of electrons between the negative and the positive terminal inside the glass piece of the LED. Another advantage of LEDs is that they do not heat up easily as compared to bulbs and hence they last longer than a common bulb. The filament in the bulb can vaporize due to the immense heat that is produced when it is lit. But there is very less amount of heat in case of LEDs and hence they last longer as compared to a bulb.

LEDs eat up less amount of battery charge as compared to normal bulbs and hence this is another reason because of which LED flashlights last much longer as compared to bulb flashlights.
Moreover, the human eye does not have to adjust itself with respect to darkness in the case of LED flashlights as it has to be done in case of traditional flashlights which are equipped with bulbs. LED torch lights such as LED keyring torch lights are used by people of all age groups for different usages like flashlights or toy laser lights especially by children.

An LED keyring torch light is the best example of the embedding of the latest technology into an existing old product. Earlier people used to carry small key ring torches which had bulbs and were not much reliable as the bulb would get fuse very easily. But these LED keyring torches are much more reliable and can be used for a longer period of time by its owner. Hence LED torches are much advanced and hence much better than the traditional torches which were used in the past.
